There are many different spiking gels that would work in your case. I have this huge bottle by LAStyle (it's HUGE, like over a foot) that I got for $1 at a CVS. They have pretty good spiking gels there for pretty cheap - just get one with maximum strength hold. Another product that I've heard works (but I don't have) is Got2B, a spray-on mist that hardens. I've heard it works wonders for keeping up liberty spikes, so I'm sure that it would be fine for spiking your hair... All you have to do is put whatever gel you decide to use in your fingers and twist your hair into little spikes (I'm not sure if you just have spikes in the back or all over, but I doubt it would be any different how you styled them). Make sure to put a lot of gel on, and to saturate each spike (it uses a lot of gel), then blowdry them if you want to speed up the process. Lastly, you can spray your head with an all-over mist to keep the spikes from not flopping down, and looking their best...

Hari gell, lol there's this one product called, beach head! It comes in like a little jar, it really works for styling like that. Also they make specific products that help you with styles and things. Just go to liek a Wal-Mart and take the time to look trhough products. THen just like mess around with it ti'll you find something you like!! Hope that helps =)

use moose it don't clump. after you put moose in it take a comb and comb your hair from the bottom up(go underneath your hair at the botttom) and that will spike it out after it is all spiked out spray it with a little bit of hairspray
