I need hair cut advice!?

i currenty have shoulder length hair, which i constanty wear up. its it not really pretty. kinda poofy, wavy, etc. what i want it ultra short hair, a choppy cut, you know, short in the back with longer bangs. thats as best as i can describe it. but what i need help with is how it might turn out, due to the type of hair i have.what are the good or bad things about super short hair?
