I need to grow out my short hair really fast. Ideas?

I cut my own hair, but recently I screwed up kind of (a lot) bad. It's not consistent, and not even. I'm too paranoid to attempt to even it out because it's super short already. It's mid-neck length, and all I really want for it to be is just past my shoulders. My hair grows a quick pace to begin, about an inch a month. So any suggestions on how to make it grow even faster will be greatly appreciated!!
