Keep your style close to your head. Also, a hat or head wrap great to keep on it until it grows out and your happy with the length.

Don't worry your not alone. I'm in the same boat,plus she cut my layers really really short and uneven. I'm using a 11/4 barrel curling iron right now to make it look half way normal until it grows out more to fix. Maybe you could try a curling iron to smooth your curls out for a new look until it gets longer. Good luck.

Be happy that at least your hair will grow back. Next time tell your stylist exactly what you want, bring pictures and be sure to say STOP if you think it's getting too short.
